About the role
Serve as a senior individual contributor and technical authority for enterprise AI developer enablement. Define enterprise strategy for AI-assisted tools in partnership with AI Council and Enterprise Architecture. Design and execute hands-on proofs of concept evaluating technical fit, security posture, and developer impact. Own GitHub Enterprise and AI tool platforms, defining standards, best practices, and guardrails for scalable, secure DevSecOps and AI-assisted workflows. Act as a developer advocate, leading training, enablement, and documentation. Define and track productivity and quality metrics, measuring AI tooling impact and communicating outcomes to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Define enterprise strategy for AI-assisted tools in partnership with AI Council and Enterprise Architecture

Requirements
- Minimum six (6) years of experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) implementations
- Strong background in Developer Experience, DevSecOps, or Platform Engineering
- Expertise in AI-assisted developer tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor)
- Proven ability to define strategy and lead through influence in a non-people-manager role
- Experience with governance, usage policies, lifecycle management, and vendor relationship management for technical platforms
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Information Security, Privacy, and Legal
