Inside the Role
Daimler Truck Financial Services is seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer with strong hands-on experience in the AI Foundry platform to design, develop, and support enterprise AI, data and analytics solutions.

What You Drive
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and analytical applications using AI Foundry components including Ontology, Workshop, Slate, and Contour.
- Create and optimize data pipelines, transformations, and data models to support enterprise analytics and operational use cases.
- Create and manage Ontology objects, relationships, actions, and operational workflows.
- Build user-friendly applications and dashboards using Workshop and Slate for business stakeholders.
- Configure and maintain Contour-based reporting and analytical views.
- Manage user access, permissions, and security roles within Foundry environments.
- Perform Foundry branching activities and support code migration using Marketplace and deployment workflows.
- Configure and maintain data connections, syncs, and external system integrations.
- Maintain pipeline performance, troubleshoot failures, and optimize data processing jobs.
- Collaborate with business users, data engineers, architects, and product owners to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Support CI/CD processes, testing, release management, and platform governance best practices.
- Provide production support and ongoing enhancements for Palantir applications and data products.
Knowledge You Should Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in BI, data engineering, or enterprise AI platform support or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, and data engineering concepts.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Knowledge of enterprise governance and data security standards.
Exceptional Candidates May Have
- Strong hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry.
- Exposure to AI/ML workflows, Ontology within Foundry.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems and APIs with Foundry.
Where We Work
This position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s)- Charlotte, NC US. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Schedule Type
Hybrid (4 days per week in-office / 1 day remote).
