About the role
You will be working in our Austin, TX location responsible for designing, developing, testing, tuning, enhancing, maintaining, and documenting AI-powered software solutions that comply with project plans and industry standards. This role is a permanent position that involves working full-time and follows a hybrid schedule, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement AI systems using Python code
- Build RAG pipelines, Agentic AI workflows, and LLM integrations
- Write clean, modular, and scalable code, and design systems that are scalable, maintainable, and production ready
- Own the end-to-end architecture of AI solutions
- Build or customize orchestration frameworks
- Build APIs and services using FastAPI or similar frameworks
- Improve model outputs using prompt engineering
- Drive adoption of AI solutions across teams and identify opportunities where AI can deliver business value
- Lead AI end-to-end projects, including but not limited to, distributing work, performing code review and ensuring engineering quality, and providing technical mentorship on AI/LLM systems to Software Engineer team members
- Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies
- Ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards
- Communicate with coworkers and others in a timely, effective, and professional manner
Requirements
- You are eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and reside in Austin, TX. C2C will not be considered.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
- You have 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years of experience building end-to-end AI products.
- Technical skills: Python, LLMs (e.g., Claude, GPT), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), MCP, Agentic AI systems, Generative AI, and AI Agent orchestration.
- Preferred: Experience as a Full-Stack Engineer building scalable backend applications using C# and .NET (Standard and Core). Experience developing APIs and designing data access layers and working with relational databases such as SQL Server.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills: Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects / assignments. Excellent attention to detail and exhibit a reasonable sense of urgency.
- Excellent communication skills: Verbal and written communication skills. Communicates in both a professional and friendly manner with coworkers and stakeholders.
- Adaptable: Ability to use new tools and learn new processes and technologies. Adapts to changing priorities while working in a fast-paced and high-stress environment. Excellent problem-solving skills to address any challenges that may arise.
- Coachable: Ability to retain and implement instruction and training. Open to learn and navigate our current processes and systems. Not afraid to ask questions.

- Reliable: Able to work during our regular business hours in our Austin location. Punctual individual and able to follow an assigned work schedule. Maintains client confidentiality at all times.
- Office environment: Able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. Works a hybrid schedule; this position is not eligible for 100% remote work.
