About the Role

This AI Engineer will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and artificial intelligence solutions that directly impact patient care delivery, predictive diagnostics, and clinical operations. The role works closely with cross‑functional teams—including clinical leaders, data engineers, and administrative staff—to identify opportunities where AI can optimize workflows, eliminate system bottlenecks, and ensure the technological infrastructure scales effectively.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and coordinate the development of AI solutions to meet strategic needs across the organization.
• Support the machine learning lifecycle from data identification to production maintenance.
• Implement best practices for continuous integration, delivery, and training of models.
• Serve as a liaison between business users, data engineers, and developers to build, implement, and integrate AI solutions into services and products.
• Create and maintain technical and user documentation for models.
• Lead data analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
• Utilize data visualization and trend analysis to produce reports for leadership teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Three or more years of professional experience in a machine learning or AI engineering role.
• Two or more years of professional experience in data analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Python and core ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn, XGBoost).
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with a cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and its AI/ML services (Vertex AI, Azure ML, SageMaker).
• Excellent communication skills for relating complex subject matter to senior management.
• Ability to manipulate large data sets and identify trends using BI tools.
• Proven ability to lead projects and coordinate efforts of developers with varying skill levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills to diagnose unpredictable model behaviors, decompose complex data challenges, and optimize system‑level compromises.
• Effective verbal and written communication that translates technical data into jargon‑free explanations and utilizes data storytelling to convey trends and metric significance.
