AI Enablement Consultant - Computing Services
About the role
Carnegie Mellon University seeks an AI Enablement Specialist to work as part of the Computing Services team. This role involves partnering with faculty, staff, and students to use AI tools for productivity, leading discovery sessions, and providing training and support.
Responsibilities
- Work with teams to identify where AI can make a difference and guide them through adoption
- Develop and run training programs and workshops
- Mentor colleagues to build their skills in AI tools
- Help solve technical and non-technical problems faced by users
- Build and maintain infrastructure for sustainable AI adoption
- Stay informed about the latest AI developments and share insights
Requirements
We are looking for someone with progressive experience in product or service delivery, preferably in a university setting. You should have experience supporting AI tool rollouts, adoption efforts, or platform integrations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value are crucial. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
