What You'll Do
- Analyze AI and LLM security scenarios to understand how models respond to adversarial, unexpected, or edge-case conditions
- Investigate prompt injection attacks, data leakage vectors, model abuse patterns, and system misuse cases
- Classify identified security issues by real-world impact and likelihood, and recommend appropriate mitigations
- Evaluate AI system behavior against security best practices and help improve model safety and reliability
- Document findings clearly and consistently using structured evaluation formats
- Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Background in cybersecurity, information security, or a closely related field
- Strong understanding of security threat modeling, attack surfaces, and risk classification
- Familiar with how modern AI and LLM systems are built, deployed, and potentially exploited
- Analytically sharp and naturally curious — you enjoy pulling systems apart to understand how they fail
- Precise and methodical when documenting complex findings and risk assessments
- Comfortable working independently across ambiguous, emerging problem spaces
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with penetration testing, red teaming, or vulnerability research
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM behavior, or AI safety concepts
- Background in application security, API security, or cloud security
- Experience evaluating AI tools or platforms from a risk or compliance perspective
- Knowledge of adversarial machine learning or AI robustness research
