AI Documentation and Knowledge Management Consultant

Location: Austin, TX (On-site; preference for candidates in Austin or Dallas market)

About the role

Design, build, and maintain SharePoint and Confluence pages for AI enablement and governance work, including logical navigation, page structures, templates, and content organization. Create and edit procedures, process guides, playbooks, FAQs, checklists, decision trees, and other reference materials for diverse business and technical audiences. Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, swimlanes, stakeholder-engagement maps, and operating-model visuals that clarify roles, handoffs, approvals, and escalation paths. Gather information through stakeholder interviews and working sessions, identify documentation gaps or inconsistencies, and validate content with subject-matter experts. Improve consistency across materials by applying common terminology, formatting, version-control practices, and content-review routines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain SharePoint and Confluence pages for AI enablement and governance

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in technical writing, IT documentation, knowledge management, business analysis, process design, or a related field
• Hands-on experience creating and maintaining content in SharePoint and Confluence
• Demonstrated ability to create clear procedures, process maps, and visual documentation for complex workflows
• Working knowledge of enterprise technology environments
• Strong writing, editing, interviewing, synthesis, organization, and attention-to-detail skills
