AI & Digital Automation Solutions Developer

About the role

We are seeking an AI & Digital Automation Solutions Developer to support the Client’s Global Distribution organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement AI, GenAI, automation, analytics, and digital workflow solutions to improve business operations and efficiency.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and identify opportunities for digital automation and process improvement.
• Build and configure custom GPTs, AI assistants, chatbots, prompt-based workflows, and other GenAI-enabled solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, prototypes, minimum viable products (MVPs), and scalable production-ready solutions.
• Develop and maintain automation workflows, scripts, APIs, and digital tools that address business needs.
• Support data standardization initiatives through data extraction, cleansing, mapping, validation, transformation, and integration activities.
• Work with structured and unstructured data to create reliable and efficient business solutions.
• Conduct testing, validation, troubleshooting, and continuous enhancement of digital and AI-enabled solutions.
• Collaborate with business, technology, data, and compliance teams to ensure solutions meet security, privacy, and scalability requirements.
• Create and maintain documentation for technical designs, workflows, prompts, business rules, support procedures, and data logic.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement activities, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution demonstrations.
• Support deployment activities, user adoption efforts, and ongoing solution optimization.

Requirements

• Education Requirements: Master’s degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience; OR Diploma with 9-11 years of relevant experience.
• Experience Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience developing AI, automation, analytics, or digital workflow solutions; Experience working directly with business stakeholders to identify requirements and deliver practical technical solutions; Demonstrated experience supporting solution development from concept through implementation and adoption; Experience working with data transformation, automation workflows, business analysis, and solution delivery initiatives.

Skills

• Hands-on experience developing AI, GenAI, automation, analytics, or digital workflow solutions.
• Ability to build or configure custom GPTs, AI assistants, chatbots, prompt-based workflows, or similar GenAI-enabled solutions.
• Experience writing or adapting code, scripts, workflows, or automation logic to solve business problems.
• Working knowledge of Python, SQL, JavaScript, Power Platform, Power Automate, APIs, or similar development and automation tools.
• Experience with tools such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI GPTs, Power Apps, Power Automate, Databricks, Snowflake, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, semantic search, vector databases, document intelligence, or knowledge management solutions.
• Strong knowledge of prompt engineering, AI solution design, workflow automation, data transformation, and user-centered solution development.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data, including data extraction, mapping, validation, cleansing, and transformation.
• Strong business analysis capabilities, including requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience testing, validating, troubleshooting, and enhancing digital or AI-enabled solutions.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in global supply chain, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry environments.
• Familiarity with software development practices, version control, GitHub, APIs, testing frameworks, CI/CD, or MLOps concepts.
• Experience developing automation solutions for reporting, workflow routing, data reconciliation, exception management, document processing, or operational dashboards.
• Understanding of data governance, master data management, metadata management, data stewardship, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.
• Familiarity with supply chain processes, including order management, inventory visibility, warehouse operations, transportation, cold chain, serialization, trade compliance, or distribution planning.
• Experience working within Agile, SAFe, product ownership, or digital product delivery environments.
• Understanding of responsible AI practices, data privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance considerations for enterprise AI solutions.
• PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS: AI/GenAI certifications, Prompt Engineering certifications, Microsoft Power Platform certifications, Azure AI or Azure OpenAI certifications, Data Analytics certifications, Automation or RPA certifications, Agile/SAFe certifications, Supply Chain certifications, Business Analysis certifications, Cloud, Databricks, or Data Engineering certifications.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, presentation, and stakeholder influence skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a global, matrixed environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering measurable business value.

Pay

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $60.00 - $90.00 /hr.

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
