About the role

We are looking for an AI Development Software Engineer to strengthen our Digital Solutions team. This role focuses on using AI tools to fundamentally transform how software is engineered, enabling faster delivery of both internal tools and customer-facing solutions. You will leverage AI coding assistants, agents, automated testing, documentation generation, and modern development tools to accelerate delivery, improve quality, and drive innovation. This is not an ML research or data science role but a hands-on software engineering position centered on AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities

• Use AI tools and agents (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot) as an integrated and primary part of your development workflow.
• Build software faster and more efficiently by leveraging AI-assisted coding, testing, and debugging.
• Design and implement internal tools, templates, workflows, automation, and products where AI accelerates development.
• Apply rapid, iterative, user-focused development practices.
• Use AI-based test automation and validation (e.g., test agents) to ensure high quality.
• Continuously identify and implement ways to reduce development time while maintaining engineering standards.
• Turn AI capabilities into practical improvements in developer productivity and delivery speed.
• Mentor and support colleagues in adopting AI-first development practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with software development.
• Experience with coding assistants and agents like Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
• Uses AI as a natural and integrated part of software development.
• Can demonstrate significantly increased development speed through AI tools.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals (architecture, APIs, maintainability, testing, production readiness).
• Understands how to balance speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
• Pragmatic and focused on delivering real solutions.
• Ability to translate new tools and approaches into real improvements in team workflows.
• Collaborates effectively with product managers, developers, and commercial stakeholders.
• Enjoys mentoring others and improving team capabilities.
