AI & Data Architect

What you'll own

• Understand our data sources, including Microsoft 365, HubSpot, underwriting files, loan documents, emails, and market research.
• Build a unified knowledge layer with enterprise search, clean governance, and secure permissions.
• Develop AI copilots for investment and operations teams.
• Deploy an agent-first operating model harnessing AI to reduce manual workflows.

What we're looking for

• Hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar.
• Experience building with cloud AI services like Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, or their AWS/GCP equivalents.
• Knowledge of distinguishing between prototypes and production-grade systems and shipping the latter.
• Experience building agent-centric AI systems using frameworks like LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, OpenAI's or Anthropic's agent SDKs, or equivalent.
• Understanding of data governance, identity management, and permissions in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to operate independently without a large engineering team.

Specifics

• Financial services experience is a plus but not required.
• Intellectual curiosity about real estate credit processes matters more than prior experience.
• Phoenix-based position preferred, but exceptional NYC candidates will be considered.
