AI Content Platforms Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional technical teams, including software engineers, platform engineers, integration specialists, knowledge engineers, and system administrators.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing engineering culture focused on continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, coach, and retain technical talent while managing performance and career development.
  • Prioritize work, allocate resources, and ensure successful delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Define and execute the roadmap for enterprise content management (ECM) and knowledge management platforms.
  • Lead platform modernization efforts that improve document management, content workflows, and intelligent automation.
  • Evaluate solution architecture, integration strategies, and build-versus-buy decisions aligned with long-term business objectives.
  • Manage technology vendors, budgets, resource planning, and platform investments.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Design and implement AI-powered knowledge solutions, including intelligent document processing, enterprise search, and knowledge agents.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge models, metadata strategies, knowledge graphs, ontologies, and retrieval frameworks that support scalable AI capabilities.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture and AI teams to deliver secure, governed, and production-ready AI solutions.
  • Define KPIs and success metrics to measure AI adoption, effectiveness, and business value.
  • Ensure enterprise platforms comply with security, regulatory, and governance requirements, including HIPAA, SOC 2, and other applicable industry standards.
  • Establish governance, auditability, and risk management practices across content, knowledge, and AI platforms.
  • Balance innovation with operational excellence, security, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, technology delivery, or technical leadership.
  • Demonstrated success leading software engineering or multidisciplinary technical teams, including hiring, mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
  • Experience delivering large-scale enterprise technology initiatives from strategy through implementation.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, systems integration, and platform modernization.
  • Experience working within highly regulated industries such as healthcare, insurance, financial services, or similar environments.
  • Knowledge of governance, security, and compliance frameworks, including HIPAA, SOC 2, and enterprise security controls.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical teams, business partners, and executive leadership.
  • Experience delivering AI-enabled solutions in production environments and leading enterprise technology transformation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities while delivering measurable business outcomes.
