About the role
The AI & Automation Finance Analyst will play a key role in improving the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of finance processes through the thoughtful use of automation, AI tools, and productivity-enhancing solutions within the Global FP&A Center of Excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of automation solutions leveraging Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot and AI Assistants.
- Use AI tools and digital solutions to improve efficiency in financial reporting, data analysis, and documentation.
- Automate recurring Excel workflows, reporting templates, data validation, and analysis routines where possible.
- Partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, assess business processes, and identify automation opportunities.
- Develop prompts, scripts, templates, and lightweight internal tools that help finance team members work faster and more consistently.
- Support the creation and maintenance of standardized operating procedures for finance processes.
- Partner with finance team members to design practical workflow improvements that can be adopted broadly across the organization.
- Support the advancement of automation governance frameworks, standards, and Global FP&A Center of Excellence (CoE) practices.
- Lead one of the Finance processes for Global Commercial Organization.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Finance or a related field required.
- 2-4 years of experience in data, business analysis, automation, or related technical roles.
- Daily proficiency using AI tools required.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI to automate tasks, analyze data, and generate financial insights.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot and AI assistants such as Anthropic Claude, GPT, Gemini.
- Strong interest in automation, AI, and process improvement.
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort with workflow optimization.
- Ability to translate business needs into practical, efficient solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

- Must be local to Illinois.

Pay
$65,500 - $125,500 USD
Schedule
