Remote applications will be discarded $80,000 to $120,000 a year We are hiring two AI Automation Engineers: one based in White Plains, NY and one in Greenwich, CT. About Astra AIAstra AI designs, builds and runs AI systems for companies that treat AI as core infrastructure, not a side tool. We build AI agents that answer phones, run intake, write and send email, keep CRMs current, generate reports and automate the work between them. We also build MIND, our own knowledge-graph platform that gives AI agents a lasting memory of a business. This is not a junior support job. It is a founders’ track: you work directly with the founder, ship real systems for real clients from your first weeks, and grow as fast as you can handle. What you will doBuild and maintain automation workflows in n8n that move real business data between AI agents, APIs and client tools.Wire AI agents (voice, email, chat) into client systems: CRMs, document signing, email, calendars and databases.Connect agents to knowledge-graph and RAG memory so they answer from a client’s actual data.Debug live systems: read the logs, find the failure, fix it, and prove the fix works.Sit with clients to understand how their work actually runs, then turn that into something that runs itself.Write down what you build so the next person can run it.What we are looking forYou have built automations or AI workflows that someone actually uses. Show us.Working knowledge of APIs, JSON and webhooks, and at least one of JavaScript or Python.Hands-on time with n8n, Zapier, Make or similar.You understand how LLMs behave in practice: prompts, tool calls, structured output and where they fail.You debug methodically and you do not call something done until you have seen it work.You can explain a technical problem plainly to a non-technical client.You can work on-site in White Plains, NY or Greenwich, CT.Nice to haveRAG, vector search or knowledge graphs.Voice AI or telephony.Experience in insurance, legal, real estate or professional services operations.No degree required.
