Responsibilities
- Event planning, design, and production while managing project delivery within timeframes
- Liaison between vendors and the corporate office
- Propose ideas on how to improve services and the quality of each event
- Organize facilities and manage all event details, such as location, speaker, invitee list, special guests, etc.
- Specify volunteer requirements and coordinate their activities
- Work with the Marketing Team members to promote and publicize events
- Handle all issues and troubleshoot any problems during the planning and on event day
- Conduct pre- and post-event evaluations and report on outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Management, or Event Planning
- Strong understanding of the different aspects of event planning, including logistics, marketing, scheduling
- Strong written, oral communication, and research skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to give clear instructions and motivate the Event Team to deliver results
- Proven ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
