Responsibilities

  • Event planning, design, and production while managing project delivery within timeframes
  • Liaison between vendors and the corporate office
  • Propose ideas on how to improve services and the quality of each event
  • Organize facilities and manage all event details, such as location, speaker, invitee list, special guests, etc.
  • Specify volunteer requirements and coordinate their activities
  • Work with the Marketing Team members to promote and publicize events
  • Handle all issues and troubleshoot any problems during the planning and on event day
  • Conduct pre- and post-event evaluations and report on outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Management, or Event Planning
  • Strong understanding of the different aspects of event planning, including logistics, marketing, scheduling
  • Strong written, oral communication, and research skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to give clear instructions and motivate the Event Team to deliver results
  • Proven ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
