AI / App Architect

About the role

MegaCorp Logistics is a fast-growing third-party logistics company ranked among the top 30 in the US. We are seeking an AI/App Architect who can navigate complex systems, make hard decisions, and build useful applications.

Responsibilities

• Help clients find successful solutions to their logistics needs
• Design and implement systems that integrate AI to improve efficiency and decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, data science, and engineering
• Ensure applications are user-friendly and meet business requirements
• Work on projects from concept through deployment, ensuring quality and scalability
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in AI and software development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in software development and/or AI engineering
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and their practical applications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products
• Experience with database design and optimization
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and iterative development processes
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#
• Experience with AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases and distributed systems
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of ethical considerations in AI and software development

Pay

$150,000 - $180,000 per year
