AI Accelerator Product Development Lead

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and execution-focused IT Product Owner to help deliver high-impact technology solutions that address some of the most complex and meaningful challenges in our healthcare system. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on emerging technologies in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment—where rapid, thoughtful delivery directly supports better patient care and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates new technologies and industry trends and determines applicability to current products or services (10%)
  • Serves as primary contact and lead for discussions and negotiations on emerging market targets (5%)
  • Develops project plans including goals, deliverables, resources, budget and timelines for launches of products/services/enhancements (30%)
  • Organizes and leads technical discussions with key advisory groups and other customers/clients (20%)
  • Ledes the identification of additional opportunities for value-added product/service delivery based on customer/client/advisory group interaction and feedback (10%)
  • Ledes the development of marketing and professional outreach activities and informational campaigns to raise awareness of product/service (5%)
  • Ledes cross-functional teams for assigned deliverables (5%)
  • Ledes product/service liaison across the organization, external agencies, and customers to ensure effective production, delivery, and operation of new products, services, and/or enhancements (1%)
  • Creates metrics/key performance indicators and provides corresponding analysis/reporting (5%)
  • Provides periodic content progress reports outlining key activities and progress toward achieving overall goals (5%)
  • Prepares and maintains documentation including end-user documentation and release notes (3%)
  • Conducts product/service training (6%)
  • Participates in the development of the organization's long-range strategic product plans (2%)
  • Demonstrates creativity and ingenuity in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to complex design, financial, marketing, or administrative problems (3%)
  • Provides technical consultation to customers to ensure product reliability and responsiveness to problems, complaints, and suggestions (1%)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
  • 5+ years of experience in product development
  • 5+ years of project management experience using Agile and Hybrid methodologies
  • 2+ years of experience in the healthcare-related industry
  • Advanced knowledge of product development concepts, practices, standards, and processes
  • Proven ability to identify key issues critical to the organization's long-range success of a desired product or service
  • Proven ability to research, collect, and analyze information to use in determining product options or alternatives
  • Advanced organization and project management skills to lead large or multiple cross-functional teams
  • Advanced oral and written communications skills to draft clear, concise documentation, reports, and specifications
  • Ability to lead, build consensus, and promote the exchange of information among project team, internal and external constituencies
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software
