About the role
AdventHealth is seeking a dynamic, caring, and energetic neurologist with fellowship training in neuromuscular diseases and EMGs to join their expanding program in Central Florida. The new physician will be part of a comprehensive team focusing on outpatient care at ten hospitals, with a special emphasis on muscle dystrophy and ALS care centers.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert care in neuromuscular diseases and EMGs
- Collaborate with existing neurology subspecialty leaders and general neurologists
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care
- Contribute to research and education initiatives within the Neuroscience Institute
Requirements
- Eligible for Florida medical license
- Board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- Fellowship training in neuromuscular diseases including EMG's
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with experience in EMG and NCS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and a collaborative team approach
