- Proficient computer skills with ability to learn other computer programs

- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with SSI Agvance, Climate, SMS, and/or related experience
- Knowledge of agronomic seed, chemical, and fertilizer product portfolios
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
- Valid driver's license
- State of Illinois Commercial Applicator License required (training will be provided if necessary)
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Plant and Soil Science, or related field required
- Previous experience within Ag Retail
- Previous experience as a Custom Applicator
- Interest in pursuing Certified Crop Advisor certification
Working Conditions
- Position operates in both an outdoor environment and an office environment
- Requires sitting and standing for prolonged periods, working on a computer, and exposure to moving, mechanical parts, dusty conditions, high noise levels, chemicals, and internal and external temperature/weather conditions (from -20 to +100 degrees)
- Employee must be willing to work weekends, seasonal hours, holidays, and overtime if needed
