Summary
This position will be responsible for assisting the Location Manager with the effective management and coordination of the agronomy operations at the agronomy plant.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Working with multiple locations in communication of application orders, batching orders, and ensuring trucks get loaded with correct product.
- Maintain essential knowledge of material handling equipment and how to maintain that equipment.
- Consult with producers and make appropriate recommendations of crop nutrients, crop protection, seed, and precision ag.
- Be an effective communicator.
- Have effective organization skills.
- Schedule and dispatch application equipment assigned to the location.
- Assist with managing the locations inventory.
- Work with Location Manager on product inventory needs and location space management.
- Operate the plant in accordance with the Cooperatives safety policies, maintenance program, and housekeeping standards.
- Perform regular inventories, verify physical on-hand to accounting system.
- Other duties assigned by Supervisor

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Technology Skills
Ability to use the following Microsoft Office programs; Outlook, Excel, and Word. Must be able to learn and use the cooperatives agronomy software. Can also use the latest technology communications services email, texting, and smartphone operation.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Commercial Driver’s License is recommended not required.Benefits
