Agronomy Production Supervisor

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with multiple locations in communication of application orders, batching orders, and ensuring trucks get loaded with correct product.
• Maintain essential knowledge of material handling equipment and how to maintain that equipment.
• Consult with producers and make appropriate recommendations of crop nutrients, crop protection, seed, and precision ag.
• Be an effective communicator.
• Have effective organization skills.
• Schedule and dispatch application equipment assigned to the location.
• Assist with managing the locations inventory.
• Work with Location Manager on product inventory needs and location space management.
• Operate the plant in accordance with the Cooperatives safety policies, maintenance program, and housekeeping standards.
• Perform regular inventories, verify physical on-hand to accounting system.
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office programs; Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Must be able to learn and use the cooperatives agronomy software.
• Can also use the latest technology communications services email, texting, and smartphone operation.
• Commercial Driver’s License is recommended but not required.
