ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working with multiple locations in communication of application orders, batching orders, and ensuring trucks get loaded with correct product.
- Maintain essential knowledge of material handling equipment and how to maintain that equipment.
- Consult with producers and make appropriate recommendations of crop nutrients, crop protection, seed, and precision ag.
- Be an effective communicator.
- Have effective organization skills.
- Schedule and dispatch application equipment assigned to the location.
- Assist with managing the locations inventory.
- Work with Location Manager on product inventory needs and location space management.
- Operate the plant in accordance with the Cooperatives safety policies, maintenance program, and housekeeping standards.
- Perform regular inventories, verify physical on-hand to accounting system.
- Other duties assigned by Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office programs; Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Must be able to learn and use the cooperatives agronomy software.
- Can also use the latest technology communications services email, texting, and smartphone operation.
- Commercial Driver’s License is recommended but not required.
