Agronomy Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the agronomy facility, including fertilizer, chemical, seed, and application services.
• Lead, train, coach, and evaluate agronomy employees.
• Maintain excellent customer relationships and deliver high-quality service.
• Oversee inventory management, receiving, storage, and distribution for operational efficiency.
• Monitor and maintain equipment, vehicles, and assets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, DOT, OSHA, EPA, and company policies.
• Support sales, budgeting, and profitability objectives.
• Collaborate with sales staff to recommend agronomic solutions.
• Ensure accurate documentation, billing, and inventory controls.
• Plan seasonal operations, including staffing and logistics.
• Foster a positive team environment emphasizing safety and customer satisfaction.
• Resolve customer issues and operational challenges promptly.
• Maintain facility appearance and equipment grounds.
• Support company goals and perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture, agronomy, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in agronomy, crop production, or related field.
• Proven ability to manage and lead teams.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build strong relationships.
• Experience with inventory management and asset maintenance.
• Knowledge of safety, environmental, DOT, OSHA, EPA regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
