Agricultural Specialist-Chad

About the role

We are seeking an Agricultural Specialist to join our holistic church planting team working in the Guera region. The ideal candidate will have training and experience in agriculture and understand the unique attributes of the Sahel region, including creating irrigation systems. They must be willing to study and learn from experts and local people about current agricultural practices, and be self-motivated and willing to teach others.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain irrigation systems
• Study and learn from experts and local people about current agricultural practices
• Teach agricultural techniques to community members
• Form discipleship relationships through agriculture

Requirements

• Training and experience in agriculture
• Understanding of Sahel region's unique attributes
