Agricultural Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of peas and corn harvest equipment and related equipment
• Maintain cost control over equipment for budget purposes
• Maintenance in other areas of the facility when needed
• Ensure an even, constant, and sufficient flow of product meeting or exceeding company standards during harvest season
• Ensure adherence to GMPs (General Manufacturing Practices), safety rules, and regulations
• Work in conjunction with Area Supervisors to maintain production and quality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree and/or equivalent mechanical/repair experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good mechanical repair and troubleshooting skills
• Willingness and ability to work in a team environment
• Strong communication skills

Pay

Starting wage range based on skills, abilities, and experience from $28.00 to $32.00 per hour.
