AGM-Mechanical - Onsite Operations

About the role

The incumbent shall be responsible for Bhilai 1300 X 2 ASUs plant Mechanical maintenance, improving reliability and availability of the plant, and R&M cost reduction. Responsibilities

• Improve reliability and availability by supporting early plant startup through quick troubleshooting and executing shutdowns on or before schedule; support shutdowns at other locations as required.
• Analyze machine data proactively to avoid major breakdowns.
• Coordinate with the reliability Center of Excellence team and other teams for quick troubleshooting.
• Lead budgeting for annual plans, R&M cost reduction, and CAPEX approval for the plants.
• Coordinate statutory requirements such as Rule 18 and Rule 19 as per the Factory Act 48 and manage licensing with government officers.
• Conduct FMEA (Failure Mode Effective Analysis), RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and execute EMOC for any changes.
• Ensure maintenance team development through technical training and motivation.
• Support execution of major and minor productivity projects.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of plant maintenance, including standards/global directive/alerts implementation, machine checklists, maintenance spares procurement, CMMS (SAP/7i), and safety observation and closure.

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10-15 years of experience in continuous process industries, preferably ASU, Petrochemical, or Fertilizers.
• Hands-on experience in rotating machine maintenance, such as air compressors, turbines, and pumps.
