About the role
Serve as the Product Owner of a software development team
Serve as the CAM, keep budget updated, manage staffing plan
Regular briefings to Executive Leadership and Customers
Coordinate and prioritize the needs for multiple stakeholders across multiple products
To work with stakeholders, both internal and external, to develop solutions to solve Government needs across multiple programs and advance warfighter capabilities
Own the integrated Product Roadmap, defining the priorities of software capabilities consistent with stakeholder mission needs
Iterate Product Roadmap with the stakeholder to address evolving priorities
Decompose stakeholders’ needs to create, refine, and prioritize the product backlog; support all aspects of backlog refinement and story mapping
Drive performance of the team to accomplish sprint and release commitments, escalate and remove impediments, and participate in status and progress reporting to senior management
Engage in Program Increment (PI) Planning Activities; ensure PI objectives reflect customer priorities and business value, identify risks and dependencies for the Scrum Team and across the program

Requirements
- Principal Product Owner (Level 3): Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, System Engineering, or similar plus 5 years of experience, or a master’s with 3 years of experience
Software Development experience
Experience working in satellite operations, satellite ground systems, or astrodynamics
1+ years of CAM experience
EVM Experience
1+ years - Sr. Principal Product Owner (Level 4): Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, System Engineering, or similar plus 8 years of experience, or a master’s with 6 years of experience
Software Development experience
2+ years of CAM experience
2+ years EVM Experience
Product Owner Certification
Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen
- Active Top Secret and ability to obtain and maintain SCI access at time of application
- Primary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 - $213,400.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00

Pay
- The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
- Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Schedule
- Continued employment thereafter will be subject to maintenance at the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future.
