Agile Product Owner

About the role

The Agile Product Owner (APO) at Grow Financial Federal Credit Union is responsible for owning and managing the Product Backlog, serving as the voice of the customer, and collaborating with a cross-functional Scrum team to support the credit union's Vision.

Responsibilities

• Owns and manages the Product Backlog
• Serves as the voice of the customer
• Closely collaborates with business product sponsors, business analysts, developers, designers, and other stakeholders
• Drives the development of highest value capabilities for all Grow products
• Works on a highly collaborative, cross-functional Scrum team
• Adapts to changing circumstances quickly and professionally
• Maintains strict confidentiality
• Ensures detailed designs and features meet stakeholder needs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or 4 years of relevant experience
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working on Scrum and/or Kanban teams
• Minimum 1 year experience leading systems/processes/tools for complex integrated organizational projects
• Superior communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Computer knowledge using Microsoft Office Suite

• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and type English
• Must be able to hear and use a telephone
• Requires repetitive keystrokes
• Traditional office setting; Work from home available
• Sedentary role
• Travel to other branches or locations required as needed
