Responsibilities

• Responsible for the full stack development of Cloud based applications and microservices.
• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
• Aid with developing and executing test procedures for software components.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers; analyze systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigate problem areas.
• Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
• Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
• Create or implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 9 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.
• An active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 5 years.
• Familiar with Java, JavaScript frameworks (React), Gitlab, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, and modern datastores (NoSQL, Relational, Object).
• Familiar with Spring, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Swagger and AWS managed services.
• Familiar with System Requirements decomposition, release planning, CI/CD, Test frameworks and automation, and Agile Methodology.
• Familiar with FOSS & GOTSCloud Experience.
• One (1) year demonstrated work experience with full stack development; front-end, API and backing datastores.
• Demonstrated work experience with Spring Boot microservices, 12-Factor applications, serialization such as JSON and/or BSON and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

Pay

Salary Range: $213k-$233k per year with an additional $53k-$58k in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions
