About the role
Senior professional level role with subject matter expertise as a Scrum Master. Typically works with multiple teams at a time. Applies foundational Agile delivery knowledge to support team activities and contribute to Agile transformation efforts.
Responsibilities
- Supports Agile delivery by participating in and facilitating Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Provides input in identifying and escalating impediments that affect team progress.
- Navigates the organization to manage dependencies and works with minimal supervision.
- Applies Agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban to independently contribute to transformation efforts and support team processes.
- Collaborates with team members and stakeholders to promote Agile principles and continuous improvement.
- Supports the collection and reporting of Agile metrics and team performance data.
- Contributes to Agile training and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Assists in the adoption and use of Agile tools and technologies.
- Ensures Truist SDLC is appropriately followed.
- Supports cross-functional collaboration to achieve delivery goals.
- Continuously develops Agile knowledge and skills through learning and practice.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile delivery or related technical roles.
- Basic understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience participating in Agile ceremonies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Agile certifications such as SAFe Scrum Master, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or Agile Fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Rally, Jira).
- Interest in continuous improvement and Agile methodologies.
- Technical background or experience in software development or related fields.
