Aggregate Claims Specialist

About the role

This is an in-office position that offers flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week after completion of training.

Responsibilities

• Acquire expertise in all internal responsibilities related to the aggregate claim process.
• Become an Amwins Self-Funded subject matter expert on the aggregate claim process.
• Coordinate and manage administrative tasks related to aggregate stop-loss claims, including report requests, review, research, and resolution on discrepancies, claim filing, and information requests.
• Complete and review monthly aggregate reports across all assigned accounts.
• For accounts utilizing the monthly aggregate accommodation product, conduct enhanced review, communicate findings, and process related claims as needed.
• Communicate professionally, timely, clearly, and accurately with internal and external stakeholders regarding aggregate claims or the claim process.
• Build and maintain carrier resource information required for annual and monthly aggregate claim submissions.
• Undertake other duties and projects assigned.

Requirements

• A passion for learning our business model and understanding the products we work with.
• College degree or equivalent work experience is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Capability to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to effectively manage time, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
• Strong teamwork skills; ability to work cooperatively and jointly with various staff members.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with internal and external parties.
• Sense of urgency and attention to detail.
