Agentic Solutions Engineer
About the role
Join an embedded technical team sitting at the heart of Booz Allen's corporate People Services organization, working directly in support of the company’s Chief Human Resources Officer. Build and maintain production-grade data pipelines, AI-powered applications, and analytics tools that shape how one of the world's leading companies understands and invests in its own workforce. Work hands-on with enterprise data sources, including Workday and Azure-based data lakes powered by Databricks, writing Python across notebooks, scripts, and full web application stacks. Develop and extend REST APIs and front-end interfaces that deliver real, daily-use tools to HR professionals and company leadership.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain production-grade data pipelines, AI-powered applications, and analytics tools
- Develop and extend REST APIs and front-end interfaces
- Integrate large language model capabilities into applied workflows
- Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods
- 5+ years of experience with software development using programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks such as Javascript, Python, or Scala
- Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
- Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, product management, and software products
- Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
- Knowledge of AI systems architecture, AI platforms, or MLflow
- Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in software engineering, or 5+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
Skills
- Experience with administration of CI/CD pipelines using Kubernetes, Docker, or Jenkins
- Master’s degree
- ML, AI, or Solution Architecture Certification

Pay
$69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD)
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
