What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing and implementing robust, end-to-end agentic workflows within the Ansys Mechanical product using cutting-edge AI technologies.
- Analyzing real-world usage data to iteratively improve workflow effectiveness and user experience.
- Developing and optimizing embedding pipelines and integrating with vector databases to achieve high-performance, cost-effective AI systems.
- Creating, refining, and deploying high-quality Large Language Model prompts to deliver impactful AI-powered user interactions.
- Deploying AI workflows to local networks, ensuring secure and reliable integration into existing infrastructure.
- Investigating and resolving defects in production code, enhancing software reliability and user trust.
- Developing comprehensive unit tests for new features, ensuring maintainable and error-resistant codebases.
- Analyzing results from AI workflows to drive continuous improvements in software usability, reliability, and performance.

What You’ll Need:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, ideally with coursework in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and 2+ years of hands-on experience is a plus.
- Demonstrable experience working with Large Language Models in production environments.
- Proficiency in scripting languages, especially Python, for rapid prototyping and workflow automation.
- Strong analytical and algorithmic problem-solving skills, with a focus on scalable and efficient solutions.
- Experience with unit testing, debugging, and code optimization in complex software systems.
- Familiarity with development tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio, Git, and GitHub.
- Exposure to NLP, Knowledge Graphs, and agentic workflows (reasoning, tool usage, automated task execution, Model Context Protocols).
- Knowledge of additional programming languages such as C++, C#, Go, Rust, or Java is a plus.
