Agentforce Salesforce Quality Assurance Tester

About the role

The Agentforce Salesforce Quality Assurance Tester ensures the quality, reliability, and compliance of AI agent features, Salesforce configurations, and integrations throughout the software release lifecycle. This role validates Salesforce functionality and AI-driven agent behavior while supporting seamless deployment and operation of AI-enhanced solutions in a regulated federal environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations.
• Collaborate with government leads and Product Owners to clarify acceptance criteria, requirements, and testing scope.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing.
• Validate declarative Salesforce configurations, including Flow, approvals, and Lightning App Builder.
• Test custom Salesforce development components, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and triggers.
• Validate integrations with external systems such as MuleSoft and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Test Agentforce AI agents to verify appropriate topic and action routing and accurate prompt outputs.
• Validate AI agent guardrails and ensure agents remain within defined scope.
• Design and execute AI agent test cases using Agentforce Testing Center.
• Establish evaluation criteria for AI-generated outputs beyond exact-match assertions.
• Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Verify data integrity, system functionality, and reporting accuracy.
• Support release readiness, deployment validation, and post-release stabilization activities.
• Ensure QA practices align with governance, auditability, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare written and oral briefings, quality reports, and executive-ready status updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field; or 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience performing quality assurance and software testing in Agile environments.
• Ability to design and execute test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications, including declarative automation and custom development.
• Experience testing Salesforce integrations, including MuleSoft and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to meet applicable pre-employment and federal program qualifications.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing Agentforce or conversational AI/LLM-based systems.
• Knowledge of Agentforce Testing Center, Prompt Builder, and Data Cloud grounding.
• Understanding of testing methodologies for non-deterministic AI-generated outputs.
• Experience working in regulated or government technology environments.

Pay

Estimated starting annual salary range: $100,000–$120,000, commensurate with experience.
