Agent Trainee - Farmers Insurance

About the role

The Dan Sanderson Agency, part of the respected Farmers Insurance network in Jenison, is seeking an energetic and motivated Agent Trainee to join their close-knit team.

Responsibilities

• Connect with potential clients and convert leads into new business
• Get to know clients' needs and create personalized insurance plans
• Sell and cross-sell Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial insurance
• Foster long-term client relationships with ongoing support and check-ins
• Surpass sales goals to drive agency growth
• Stay current on product offerings and compliance requirements
• Use our CRM to organize leads, track follow-ups, and handle renewals
• Bring fresh ideas to team meetings and help shape sales plans

Requirements

• Previous sales experience or a proven record of hitting goals
• Great communicator and confident negotiator
• Comfortable making outbound calls and initiating conversations
• Ready to learn, take feedback, and grow with the team
• Highly organized with strong time management skills
• Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health licenses are a plus (or willing to obtain)
• Bilingual skills valued

Pay

Compensation Range: $55K - $75K
