Agent Support III

Primary Responsibilities

• Proficient in professional verbal and written communication with agents.
• Able to manage multiple email inboxes and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Capable of handling phone calls from agents/agencies and carriers and returning voicemails in a timely manner.
• Experienced in using Excel and Word for creating and managing reports and templates for agents.
• Responsible for conducting “Welcome Calls” and introducing new agents.
• Knowledgeable about various Medicare carriers and their processes.
• Understanding of commission structures from carriers.
• Adept at troubleshooting issues for agents, related to their clients.
• Able to learn/use multiple systems and resources.
• Collaborative, able to work with team members and other departments.
• Capable of assisting with and understanding certifications for Medicare carriers.
• Proficient in navigating different carrier websites.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the team.

Primary Skills & Requirements

• High School degree of GED
• 0-2 years of related experience
• Licensed to sell health and life insurance (preferred)
• Experience with Medicare and/or the Affordable Care Act
• Strong verbal/written communication skills
• Strong listening skills
• Attention to Detail
• Organizational skills
• Strong customer service skills
