Job Summary
The Agent, Retail is responsible for the smooth operation of the Boutique, maintaining appropriate levels of stock and supplies for the team, and liaising with all guests in a polite and professional manner. In addition, they will prepare financial reports as needed.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Follows the brand principle of We Create Joy in every interaction, both internally and externally
- Guarantees the retail outlet is manned at all times
- Delivers warmth and professionalism when interacting with guests
- Aks open-ended questions and uses product knowledge to make thoughtful sales recommendations
- Reports guest preferences to the Front Office Team to keep the SAGA system updated for future uses
- Responsible for all promotional activities, ensuring targets are met
- Provides ideas to the management team on how to improve sales to drive the success of the department
- Assists with receiving shipments, re-stocking, and merchandising the sales floor
- Ensures all displays are visually attractive
- Counsults inventory reports as directed by the Finance team
- Maintains any cash floats, recordkeeping as required by the Finance team
- Assists with conducting and compiling reports as requested by members of management
- Participates in training as required by their direct manager or other members of management, including cross-training
- Assists with additional duties, as requested by the Manager, Retail or other members of the management team
Skills, Experience, & Educational Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Retail Agent is required, preferably in a hotel setting
- Must possess computer literacy skills, being knowledgeable in programs like Microsoft Outlook (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must have superior organizational skills
- Must have excellent communication skills, being able to read, write, and speak in English proficiently
- Must possess proper telephone etiquette

- Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and bending in an operational environment for extended periods
- Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and pulling
- Lifting and carrying of loads weighing up to 50 pounds
- Working in outdoor environments, including high altitudes, that may present extreme weather conditions such as snow, ice, rain, heat, wind, etc.
