About the role
Farmers Insurance is seeking a motivated and goal-driven Agent in Training to join their high-performing agency. This position is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, a sales-oriented mindset, and a passion for helping clients protect their most valuable assets.
Responsibilities
- Driving new business by identifying prospects, conducting outreach, and converting leads into policies
- Conducting client consultations to evaluate insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage
- Selling and cross-selling insurance products, including Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial policies
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, offering ongoing support and policy reviews
- Meting and exceeding individual sales targets, contributing to overall agency growth
- Staying current on product knowledge and compliance requirements
- Utilizing CRM tools to track leads, follow-ups, and renewals
- Participating in team meetings and sales strategy sessions
Requirements
- 1+ year of sales, customer service, or insurance experience (preferred)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Confidence in making outbound calls and closing deals
- A coachable attitude and eagerness to learn
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license (preferred, or willingness to obtain)
- Bilingual abilities (a plus)
