We are seeking an exceptional entrepreneur to become a Shelter Insurance Agent in Middletown, OH. The role is ideal for individuals who want to meet new people, develop contacts, serve their community, grow sales and networking skills, control their own income, and start a business without facing prohibitive start‑up costs.

Responsibilities

• Develop prospects and sell Shelter products as the primary focus of the agency.
• Optionally bring on staff to handle general administrative duties and support sales efforts.
• Meet sufficient sales requirements and maintain core business proficiencies.

Requirements

• Motivated attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Skilled capacity for effectively communicating with clients in a sales atmosphere.
• Some sales experience is helpful.
• A degree with general business courses is beneficial.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• No relocation compensation is provided.

Qualifications

• No prior background in the insurance industry is required; experience is a plus but not a necessity.
• Approximately half of new Shelter Agents have never worked in insurance, coming from fields such as real estate, retail sales, education, and coaching.
• A true business‑owner mindset is essential.
