Agent 365 Identity & Security Specialist

Responsibilities

• Guide customers in assigning Entra Agent IDs, configuring permissions, and setting up Conditional Access policies for agents.
• Support security compliance by advising on applying Microsoft Defender threat protection and Purview data governance to Agent 365 deployments (e.g., DLP policies, audit logging for agents).
• Troubleshoot login authentication failures, permission errors, agent identity lifecycle management issues, and compliance check failures related to agents.
• Show expertise in deep knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) app registrations, OAuth permissions, Conditional Access for non-human identities.
• Show familiarity with Defender for Cloud Apps and Microsoft Purview compliance controls (classification, DLP, audit logs) as they apply to M365 services.
• Show experience in security identity troubleshooting (token issues, tenant configuration, license assignment).

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in IT Security, specifically in Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Defender for cloud applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• CISSP or GSEC certification is preferred but not required.

Skills

• Expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) app registrations, OAuth permissions, Conditional Access for non-human identities.
• Familiarity with Defender for Cloud Apps and Microsoft Purview compliance controls (classification, DLP, audit logs).
