About the role

RZR is an AI-native advertising platform focused on performance marketing. We operate at the intersection of machine learning, programmatic media, and mobile growth, serving some of the world's largest advertisers. The Agency Sales Lead role is for a business development professional with deep knowledge of the US media agency ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Own and activate a defined book of business covering holding company and independent agency relationships within your market
  • Identify and prioritize new target agencies based on brand portfolio fit with RZR's ideal client profile
  • Build and execute a structured outreach strategy using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, AppMagic, Sensor Tower, and sales intelligence platforms
  • Develop personalized outreach for each prospect, avoiding generic approaches
  • Maintain a healthy and documented pipeline with accurate stage progression and forecasting
  • Generate qualified meetings and advance opportunities towards closed revenue
  • Build and expand RZR's presence within agency organizations, focusing on investment, activation, strategy, and planning teams
  • Represent RZR at industry events and conferences, opening new doors and generating pipeline
  • Collaborate with Growth Leads for smooth onboarding of new agency accounts and support their initial scale
  • Stay current on RZR's evolving capabilities and share best practices with the Agency Lead team

Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in agency partnerships, sales, or business development within ad tech, mobile, or digital media
  • Demonstrated track record of building pipeline and closing revenue through agency channels
  • Deep understanding of media agency structure, including holding companies, independent agencies, trading desks, and investment teams
  • Strong written communication skills, able to craft compelling, personalized outreach
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and sales intelligence platforms (LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar)
  • A hunter mentality: motivated by pipeline creation and new logo acquisition, not just relationship maintenance
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with minimal structure

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with mobile measurement, programmatic buying, or app marketing ecosystems
  • Experience using AppMagic or Sensor Tower for prospect research
  • Existing relationships within holding company agencies in your market (WPP, Publicis, IPG, Omnicom, Dentsu, Havas)
  • Strong network within the independent agency community in your city
  • Prior experience at a mobile-first ad tech company or DSP
