About the role

The successful candidate will be subject to a thorough vetting process which includes, an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

Requirements

• Recent experience of teaching
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Cert Ed or equivalent teaching qualification
• English and maths GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent
• Vetting Child and Workforce Enhanced DBS
• A current and valid DBS under the Agency/on the Update Service
• Complete set of references to cover the past 3 years (and last employment worked with children if this was prior to this)
• RTW evidence
• Proof of Address
• Confirmation of online search
• Confirmation of health check – placement is Fit to Work
• Confirmation of overseas check, if relevant
• If not, to confirm N/A
• Teacher Prohibition check and confirmation clear
• Employment history from school - With all gaps in employment accounted for

Qualifications & Education

• Cert Ed or equivalent teaching qualification
• English and maths GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent
