AG Equipment Sales Representative
Responsibilities
- Effectively follow successful sales processes that ensure the customer has an excellent buying experience, including the timely completion of all paperwork.
- Set and monitor progress toward agreed-upon sales goals and manage/prioritize work to achieve progress toward yearly, monthly, weekly and daily sales goals against key performance indicators.
- Proactively support and work with other employees, departments and/or locations to give the customer a seamless experience in ways that promote teamwork and increase customer satisfaction.
- Continually learn and apply new selling skills, strategies and techniques on a daily, monthly and yearly basis.
- Actively seek, identify and obtain new prospects in ways that lead to increased sales.
- Develop and maintain a high level of product, market and industry knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
- Proven sales experience in selling equipment for at least 10 years
- Previous success in a sales role managing 20 million dollars in sales or more
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- High level of product, market and industry knowledge

Work is performed in a office, maintenance shop and outdoor environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system. May be subject to sitting, standing, climbing, lifting, grasping, reaching, stooping, crouching, speaking, listening and motor coordination.
