Seasonal agricultural position from September 1, 2026 to December 15, 2026.

Schedule

  • 55 hours per week
  • Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • May include nights and weekends; employer may request but cannot require work on the worker’s Sabbath

Responsibilities

  • Operate tractors to pack silage and hay piles on-site until the pile is complete
  • Operate tractors to unload and stack straw bales on-site
  • Apply liquid manure using tractors and manure hose within a 5-mile radius of the worksite (minimal driving on community roads)
  • September–November: apply dry-solids manure using payloaders and tractors with spreader attachments (no trucking of dry solids)
  • Maintain worksite and equipment, including cleaning

Requirements

  • No high-school diploma or GED required
  • Two months of recent, verifiable experience performing the listed duties
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test at no cost; positive test or refusal may result in termination
  • Physical ability to lift 75 lbs, perform extensive pushing/pulling, sit and walk for long periods, stoop, bend, and make repetitive movements
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the U.S. required

Pay

$14.60 per hour. Employer may, at its sole discretion, pay above the minimum rate and/or provide additional compensation such as bonuses, fixed salaries, PTO, insurance, or incentive pay based on lawful, non-discriminatory factors.

  • Work guaranteed for ¾ of the contract period from date of arrival

  • Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to the worksite upon 50 % completion of the work contract for non-commuting workers (daily subsistence: at least $16.78 per day, up to $68.00 per day with receipts)
  • Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge
  • Under Minnesota law, employees earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year
