Assistant Teacher Key Responsibilities: Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plansSupport children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development through active engagement and positive interactionsPrepare classroom materials and ensure a safe, clean and inviting learning environment Supervise and provide individualized support to children and foster a sense of belongingAdhere to health and safety guidelines and licensing regulations to ensure a secure environment Qualifications: Shows empathy and compassion for young childrenWorks productively without supervisionAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of childrenMust pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience, and credential requirements If you’re an energetic, nurturing person looking for a supportive and fun workplace, join us!
