About the role
The Salinas After School Program Facilitator program starts on August 6, 2026, and ends on June 2, 2027. The schedule includes Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 6:00pm, with no work on Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Lead structured, engaging activities and sports using Elevo’s curriculum
- Manage group dynamics and support positive student behavior
- Partner with school staff and fellow coaches to create a welcoming program environment
- Show up consistently as a role model who helps students build confidence and social skills
Requirements
- Experience coaching, playing sports, working in education, or leading youth in any setting
- Bring energy and presence that holds a group of up to 20 students’ attention
- Stay calm and empathetic when managing behavior or redirecting a tough moment
- Build trust quickly with students, families, and school staff
- Run activities on time and adapt on the fly when plans shift
- Collaborate with fellow coaches and school partners

$20 per hour
Schedule
Monday: 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Tuesday: 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Wednesday: 12:15pm - 6:00pm
Thursday: 1:00pm - 6:00pm
Friday: 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Saturday: No Work
Physical Requirements
- Constantly move about to accomplish tasks or move from one place to another frequently
- Sitting or standing for long periods
- Occasional running and other strenuous physical activity
- Movement safely on irregular and/or uneven terrain on a regular basis
Additional Requirements
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Pass Live Scan Background check and TB screening
- 18+ with high school diploma or GED
