About the role

Afterschool helper needed to provide assistance and support to a family near UNC. This position involves engaging with and supervising children, assisting with homework, and ensuring their safety during after‑school hours. Additional tasks may include light housekeeping and organizing activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during after‑school hours
• Engage with children and create a positive, nurturing environment
• Assist with homework and support learning
• Ensure safety and well‑being of the children
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Organize and facilitate activities

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children (preferred)
• Experienced sitter
• Background check completed
• Verified college enrollment
• CPR and first‑aid certification (a plus)
