Afternoons-Weekends Youth Mentor

About the role

ExpertCare is looking for Youth Mentors to work 1:1 with our Recipients. You will support, encourage, and help with skill building activities while also bringing them into the community to support their personal goals.

Responsibilities

• Support and encourage Recipients in their daily lives
• Help build new skills and interests through various activities
• Bring Recipients into the community to support their personal growth
• Work closely with Caregivers to ensure care plans are followed

Requirements

• Compassionate and patient
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments
• Able to pass required background checks and screenings
• Must be 18 years or older
