About the role

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you’ll build meaningful connections with children and help them develop life-changing skills every single day. RBTs are certified and trained professionals who provide one-on-one support using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA): an evidence-based approach that helps children improve communication, social, and daily living skills through positive reinforcement and structured teaching. If you’re compassionate, motivated, and ready to grow, we’ll guide you every step of the way; including paid training and full support through the RBT certification process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one support to children using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
  • Help children improve communication, social, and daily living skills through positive reinforcement and structured teaching
  • Frequent movement, including sitting on the floor, standing, bending, and responding quickly to client needs
  • Lift or assist clients and equipment up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation

Requirements

  • At least a high school diploma or GED
  • Can pass background screening
  • Ability to attend 4-5 weeks of training in our Mililani clinic to obtain the RBT Certification (Monday - Friday between 8:00am - 4:00pm)
  • Availability Monday - Friday from 2:30pm - 5:30pm

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional experience with kids

Pay

Starting pay: $20.00 per hour in clinic and $24.00 per hour in home-based settings.

Schedule

Part-time, Monday to Friday from 2:30pm to 5:30pm.
