Afternoon Caregiver Needed

About Us

As an Actikare caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors by assisting them with daily activities, providing companionship, and enabling them to maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes.

Schedule

Immediate openings for Friday 12p–4p or 1p–5p in Everett 98208. Other shifts are available. Generally expected hours: 12–20 per week, with potential to go as high as 40 per week.

Pay

$21.00 – $23.00 per hour for HCA and CNA caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Prepare for clients
• Report any unusual incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Requirements

• Active CNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington — or proof of completion or current enrollment in training program
• Experience caring for seniors, specifically with dementia
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
• U.S. work authorization (mandatory)
• Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
• Respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
