Afternoon Babysitter for Toddler and Preschooler

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and energetic babysitter to care for our two children, a 3-year-old boy and a 1-year-old girl, in Richmond, VA. The role involves engaging the children in activities, such as reading or playing around the house, or taking them to the playground or library while I complete work tasks in the afternoon.

Responsibilities

• Engage the children in activities, such as reading or playing around the house
• Take the children to the playground or library

Requirements

• Comfortable around animals (we have a Sheepadoodle dog and another pet in the home)
• Enthusiastic about working with children
• Able to commit to a consistent schedule

Schedule

• Recurring weekly position
• Starting Thursday, September 3, 2026
• Hours: 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM
