Afternoon Babysitter for Preschool Child

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and caring babysitter to watch our 4-year-old boy on a few days each week for several hours. This role will include feeding and entertaining our son during the afternoon from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Our household also includes a friendly 4-year-old chocolate lab and a 5-month-old standard poodle, so comfort with pets is important.

Responsibilities

• Feed and entertain our 4-year-old son from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for our son
• Handle pets (chocolate lab and standard poodle)
• No additional driving, bathing, or bedtime duties required

Requirements

• Comfortable with children and pets
• Flexible scheduling available
• Winston-Salem, NC area preferred

Qualifications

• Experience with childcare is a plus
• Good communication skills
• Positive attitude and ability to handle unexpected situations
